Anterior Limb of Stapes Anatomy in 3D

One of the two bony pillars of the stapes in the middle ear. In otosclerosis, the stapes becomes fixed, usually starting at the footplate near the anterior limb, leading to conductive hearing loss that requires a stapedectomy.
