Oblique Head Of Adductor Hallucis (Sesamoid Bones Insertion) Anatomy in 3D

Small sesamoid bones are frequently found embedded within the tendon of the adductor hallucis muscle at its insertion on the medial side of the first metatarsal. These bones reduce friction and enhance mechanical advantage during great toe adduction and flexion.
