Pulmonary Trunk (Root) Anatomy in 3D

The root of the pulmonary trunk is the proximal portion of the pulmonary artery, arising from the right ventricle and giving rise to the left and right pulmonary arteries. It is supported by the pulmonary valve and surrounded by adventitial connective tissue.
