Septal Leaflet of Right Atrioventricular Valve Anatomy in 3D

The septal leaflet is one of three cusps comprising the tricuspid valve, preventing backflow of blood from the right ventricle into the right atrium during ventricular contraction. It is so named for its attachment to the interventricular septum.
